Singing at Pemi....Lusty to the extreme in the mess hall balanced by the precision and sensitive beauty of a quartet singing Grace at the banquets or The Campfire Song at sunset. Remember the octet singing The Spacious Firmament on High at Sunday services?

Too bad 'When the Battle is Over' isn't sung anymore. It made/makes no sense to me in the context of when it was sung but I still remember singing it to honor Tom Reed Sr.'s mother. I still know college songs which those who went to said colleges don't know.

I always thought Tom Sr. enjoyed the Harvard/Bates song of the mid-1980's best.
